Wait For It
A gentle morning pause for family screens.
Help your kid start the day before they start scrolling.
The problem
Morning routines lose instantly when a phone is the first thing they touch.
Screen Time helps, but it’s not built for the “not until after breakfast” moment.
The idea
Wait For It adds a simple daily boundary:
- Every night, the device locks down (using Apple Screen Time controls)
- In the morning, it stays locked until after breakfast
- Parents can unlock with a passcode or remotely from their phone
How it works
- Install Wait For It on the parent device and the child device
- Connect the devices (Family / Screen Time permissions)
- Set your nightly lock + morning window
- Enjoy a calmer start to the day
What makes it different
- Routine-first, not punishment-first
- Remote unlock when you decide it’s time
- Time-bounded unlocks so “just a minute” stays a minute
- Built on Apple’s Screen Time system (no weird VPN hacks)

FAQ
Does it read messages, track browsing, or spy?
No. It’s a routine tool, not surveillance.
Does it work with Apple Family Screen Time?
Yes - it’s designed to work with Apple’s family controls and restrictions.
Can my kid bypass it?
The goal is “hard enough to make mornings sane,” while staying within Apple’s ecosystem.
(Exact bypass-resistance depends on how Screen Time is configured.)
Wait For It - start the day, then start the screen.
